Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and optimization of electric machines (motors and generators), considering electromagnetic, mechanical, and thermal aspects. Perform detailed analysis using simulation tools such as ANSYS MotorCAD, ANSYS Maxwell, and some understanding of FEA-based mechanical/CFD tools. Generate analytical models and calculations to verify sizing, performance, losses, efficiency, and NVH characteristics. Support proposal writing as part of technical work package management from concept to production, ensuring compliance with functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.
