Responsibilities:
Design internal and external aircraft structures, interior elements, and integrated systems (e.g., cameras, antennas, equipment racks)
Prepare technical documents, including reports, analyses, test procedures, and installation instructions
Develop and maintain engineering design standards
Select appropriate materials, components, and equipment
Create mechanical concepts and designs for structural installations such as monument attachments, ceiling structures, antenna/camera mounts, avionics racks, wire routing, and auxiliary tank installations
Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings
Work effectively with aircraft structural documentation and OEM references
Apply relevant certification requirements, rules, and means of compliance correctly
Qualifications
5+ years experience working as a mechanical design engineer in aerospace - Essential
Proficient in 2D/3D CAD
Bachelors in Aeronautical Engineering
