Job Description

  • Develop and implement LV design solutions and control systems for energy projects.
  • Conduct PLC/HMI programming and power system studies to ensure system functionality.
  • Perform cable sizing and drafting tasks, including SLDs and schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with functional safety standards across all projects.
  • Oversee commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Integrate automation systems and ensure seamless system performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to meet project requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior LV & Control System Design Engineer should have:

  • Strong expertise in LV design and control systems within the mining, industrial and power sectors.
  • Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and automation integration.
  • Experience in cable sizing, drafting SLDs and schematics, and conducting power system studies.
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
