We are looking for a Design Engineer driven by innovation, mechanical design, and continuous improvement. You will join a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and project management departments to transform concepts into efficient, high-value technical solutions.
Your mission will be to design and develop mechanical components and systems, ensuring they meet all functional, aesthetic, financial, and regulatory requirements for each project.


Main responsibilities

  • Design mechanical systems, components, and assemblies according to project specifications.
  • Develop and evaluate prototypes through functional and performance testing.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during the design, prototyping, or manufacturing stages.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers, industrial designers, and production teams to ensure seamless mechanical integration.
  • Ensure design feasibility in production by assisting with material selection, manufacturing processes, and supplier coordination.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, manufacturing instructions, and technical reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by adopting new technologies and industry best practices.

REQUISITOS MÍNIMOS

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field. Master’s degree or additional certifications are a plus.
  • Experience minimum 3 years in aerostructures design or related fields (automotive, industrial, manufacturing, etc.).
  • Proficiency with CAD software (CATIA V5, 3DX or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and design validation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address complex engineering challenge.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Fluent in English reading and writing. Ability to speak Spanish would also be an advantage.
  • Residence in or availability to relocate to UK.
