This hybrid role involves delivering high‑quality mechanical design solutions on major water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop cost‑effective mechanical design layouts meeting specification, safety, and constructability standards.
• Evaluate whole‑life design costs including design hours, material selection, buildability, and cross‑discipline impacts.
• Ensure consistent use of standard design practices across projects.
• Support proposals with engineering estimates and feedback.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination to ensure fully integrated design delivery.
• Maintain high standards in documentation, customer satisfaction, and safety throughout the design lifecycle.

About You

• Demonstrable team‑leadership or line‑management experience.
