As a Electronics Design Engineer you will join our team in Bristol to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. 

You will be responsible for the design and development of electronic hardware solutions supporting aerospace products across the full engineering lifecycle. The role involves schematic design, design reviews, and close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams within a regulated aerospace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic hardware solutions for aerospace products
  • Produce and maintain schematics, design documentation, and technical reports
  • Support design reviews, verification, and validation activities
  • Work closely with manufacturing, test, and quality teams to ensure designs are robust and manufacturable
  • Support troubleshooting and design updates during development and production

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in electronics design within a regulated engineering environment
  • Strong ability to produce and interpret electronic schematics and design documentation
  • Experience working with analogue and/or digital electronic circuits
  • Knowledge of design for manufacture and test (DFM/DFT) principles

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
  • Proven experience in electronic hardware design
  • Familiarity with engineering design processes and documentation standards

Desirable Skills:

  • Aerospace industry experience, ideally with OEM or Tier 1 suppliers
  • Experience with PCB design tools (Altium, Mentor, OrCAD, or similar)
  • Exposure to qualification, environmental, or compliance testing
  • Eligibility for security clearance
