Mechanical Design Engineer – Enclosures - Key Responsibilities: - Develop engineering drawings to relevant standards.
- Design electronic enclosures for their products, including EMC and Thermals.
- Design jigs and fixtures.
- Source component parts from external suppliers and in-house machining facilities.
- Oversee the assembly of prototype designs.
- Provide support and create design drawings for existing product lines.
- Manage and control modifications to engineering and production design drawings.
Mechanical Design Engineer – Enclosures - Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in mechanical design software, ideally Autodesk INVENTOR Professional and AutoCAD Mechanical. Although any mainstream 3D CAD SW experience would be fine.
- Experience in designing enclosures for electronic products, with experience in EMC and Thermal design concepts.
- Expertise in designing small component parts, assembly jigs, and fixtures.
