Summary The Design Engineer will undertake the engineering design from land appraisal through to construction issue. They will have responsibilities for appointing appropriate consultants, agreeing fees in-line with budgets, liaising with statutory authorities, and ensuring that design sits within budget. Key Responsibilities Undertake the required highway and drainage designs for projects, to secure the approval of and, where appropriate, progress the adoption agreement with the relevant Statutory Authority. Ensure the earthworks required across a development is designed in the most cost-effective way possible. To achieve the most cost-effective solution to construct and service the site.
