Job DetailsThe Education Support Officer (ESO) Design, Construction and Engineering (DEC) will work across two local authorities (East and Midlothian) as part of the ELW team. The successful candidate will lead on the design, development, implementation and delivery of the DEC curriculum for pupils across both regions. The post holder will contribute to all aspects of developing and delivering sector leading provision; including working with schools, parents, departmental staff, partners and other agencies. A key element of this role will be to look at skills development from 3-18+ and develop Scottish SCQF qualifications that are recognised by both Insight and Industry, in the senior phase. They will construct policies, develop quality assurance, impact monitoring and tracking procedures, training, curriculum development and provide specialised support mechanisms for young people of all ages and abilities.
