Position: Signalling Design Engineer / Signalling Verifier Division: InfrastructureLocation: Swindon Safety Critical Status: YesReporting to: Design Manager Signalling Post Deputy (Only required for Safety Critical Roles): Principle Design Engineer Signalling Purpose of the Role As a Signalling Designer you will be able to produce integrated non-principles design details for relevant parts of a new or altered signalling system or layout, within the limits of your Authority to Work. You will be able to confirm that they meet the requirements provided in the scope of works and that the operational, technical and safety principles have been met. As a Signalling Designer you will make use of design typical constructs to configure them into the particular implementation within defined boundaries.
