Learning Mentor Protocol Education are currently recruiting for Learning Mentors to work with children with social, emotional, mental health (SEMH) and SEND needs in a school in BS34. The school is a Primary School which also provides alternative provision for students with SEND and SEMH who are unable to access mainstream education for a variety of reasons. Your role will include that of a Mentor/Support Worker, supporting their SEMH and SEND specific needs, well-being and academic abilities in a structured and adapted curriculum. The majority of students have Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP's) which as a key support worker, you will contribute and work together with the student to achieve their targets and offer purposeful, engaging, fun activities and lessons that progress each individual student and challenge them appropriately.
