What you'll need to succeed
Our established client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager, who is ideally a fully qualified accountant, with good knowledge of public sector accounting. This role will partner with both finance and non-finance staff, both internal and external. He has led a team previously and been able to ensure the day-to-day finance functions are met, and the timelines adhered too. This role will be integral to making informed decisions to improve efficiencies within the team and support the medium term financial strategy and annual revenue budget.
The Finance Manager will be well versed in both management and financial accounts, and well versed in dealing with auditors, looking at capital, balance sheet reconciliation, looking at cash flow and ensuring the fixed asset is maintained.
This is a permanent post, so I would like to appoint someone who is looking at this role for a long term and contributes to the long term success of the business.
