We are recruiting some Infrastructure Engineering Specialists for our Leeds based client. On offer is an initial 6 month contract role (extension likely) at a daily rate up to Circa £550 per day (Inside IR35), the role is hybrid with 2 days per week in the office after the initial 3 weeks training. This role will require active security clearance.What you will be working on:The purpose of this role is to help implement and support aplex IP migration programme.You will work with other infrastructure engineers, specialist on-site engineers to configure and deploy network andputingponents of aernment platform, below are some of the key tasks:Supports the design, implementation and execution of technical solutions for both customers and colleagues, technology choices and architecture for a wide range of high-performance products, capabilities, and platforms, effectively balancing short-term impact with long-term transformationSupports the delivery of an ambitious andpelling technical roadmap to meet the needs of the business, engineering team, and partner teamsAssists with planning and monitoring of all activities, from scoping to live, to ensure agreed scope and benefits are delivered in a contained project.Develops working relationships andmunicates with a range of project stakeholders across teams to ensure actionspleted, progress updated and impacts on otherponents managed.Supports the identification and resolution of issues and defects to ensure delivery to required standard.Reviews own work and peers’ outputs to contribute to identify and flag errors or potential issues.Who you will be working for:Our client is a well-known organisation based in Leeds.We are looking for someone with:IP networking skillset, device roles and subnets, routers, switches, management and installation of devicesLinux Operating Systems experience is requiredBasicmand line/programming skills, interacting with servers, Bash, PowerShell, Perl etc.IP networking fundamentals & IT security managementAwareness of agile methodologiesMicroservices/service oriented architectureWindows Server knowledge, AD, DNS, server managementOracle database knowledge, SQL, PL/SQL, administrationCISCO accreditation desirableThis role will require an active security clearance.What you'll get in return:The role is for an initial 6 months paying circa £550 per day (Inside IR35), working hybrid with 2 days per week in the Leeds office after an initial 3 week training period.If this role interests you, please click to apply or get in touch for a chat. #4575922 - Neil Janney
