Pay Range: £92 to £102 per day
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Reeson Education is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a well-established mainstream primary school in the M40 area of Manchester . This is a full-time, long-term role with an immediate start , supporting pupils within the SEN classes created in the school. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
About the Teaching Assistant Role:
The Teaching Assistant will be supporting students in the school's tailored SEN classes , working with children from EYFS to Year 2 . Pupils have a range of needs, including SEMH, communication difficulties, and sensory needs . There are two small SEN classes within the school, allowing for focused and meaningful support. The Teaching Assistant will help create a structured, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The Teaching Assistant will be working closely with the SENDCo, teachers, and therapists to support students' development. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM , with a 30-minute lunch break.The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:
Have experience as a Teaching Assistant , preferably in an SEN or mainstream setting. Be patient, resilient, and proactive , with a strong ability to build rapport with pupils. Have experience working with children with SEND, including SEMH and communication difficulties . Be comfortable supporting in small group and one-to-one settings . Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). Be able to commit to a full-time, long-term role and be available to start as soon as possible . Be able to provide two references covering a three-year period , with one from your most recent employer. Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the update service .Benefits for the Teaching Assistant:
