Our client, a leading engineering and systems company, is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with a passion for geotechnical engineering to be part of exciting projects in the cross-sector industry.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with a team of experienced Geotechnical & Tunnelling Engineers, assisting in the design and implementation of geotechnical solutions. Prepare technical reports and project documentation. Assist in the development of proposals and feasibility studies. Participate in site visits and client meetings. Work closely with other departments to ensure project deliverables are met. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices. Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout project execution.
Job Requirements
Significant experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Experience working on projects within the Geotechnical sector is highly desirable. Knowledge of major design practices in geotechnical engineering, although candidates with experience from smaller consultancies will also be considered. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients. A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines. An understanding of health and safety regulations in the engineering industry.
