For the successful Manual Cylindrical Grinder, our client is offering:

£32,427.72 - 34,658.52 per annum (depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 7.30 AM - 4.30 PM Mon -Thurs and Fri finish at 12.30 PM Permanent opportunity Overtime Available Contributory Pension Corporate uniform 33 Days holiday including bank holidays Training and Development Opportunities Company Bonus Scheme

The role - Manual Cylindrical Grinder:

Setting and operating manual cylindrical grinder Tool changing Rough and finish grind shafts up to 4m in length Working from detailed engineering drawings Working to extremely tight tolerances Working with exotic metals Producing bespoke parts for a variety of industry sectors.

What our client is looking for in a Manual Cylindrical Grinder

Must be time served NVQ 3 or Equivalent (ESSENTIAL) Previous experience in using steadies and turning precision pump shafts up to 4.0 m in length (ESSENTIAL) Previous experience with the machining of exotic metals (ESSENTIAL) Must be able to operate manual machines (ESSENTIAL) Experience in a previous or similar position (2 years minimum) Understand ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems (ESSENTIAL)
