Location of work: Fully remote IR35 determination: outside of IR35 The Role: An IoT electronics business require a Mechanical Design Engineer to reduce the size of their IoT device which will be mass manufactured. In simple terms the device is a small plastic box which houses electronics. You will be tasked with reducing the size of the current device, whilst using some design flair to make it stand out from the competition. You should also use your mechanical design skills so that the device can be opened and closed easily when a serviceman needs to access the device in the field. As the business is primarily a software business, you will be the sole Mechanical Design Engineer. As such you should feel comfortable taking ownership of all mechanical design tasks.
