They are looking to add a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to their team on either a staff or PAYE contract basis. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:   Responsible for the design of Blast Furnace Plant and Mechanical equipment and the development of new and existing Blast Furnace equipment, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer carry out concept design, design reviews and detail engineering of specific items of Blast Furnace equipment. You will also be responsible for the Engineering of a specific portion of a project. Project responsibilities; productivity, technical output, resource control, progress, product standardisation, health and safety and compliance.
