Our client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke plant & machinery and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Mechanical Design Engineer. The Role: Working work the Project Managers and design team you will create 3D design solutions for plant and machinery such as industrial ovens, spray technology, HVAC and LEV plant. Duties will include but not limited to the following; Create advanced 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings for new products. Product testing & validation Perform calculations (stress, deflection) and analyse test data to ensure safety and performance. Liaise with production, sub contractors and clients throughout all stages of the cycle Maintain accurate technical documentation, (BOMs) and revision control.
