The Role As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You will have a significant impact on the UK’s future technological capabilities. Example projects include high-energy defensive laser weapon systems such as Dragonfire; counter-drone systems such as Obsidian; and sensors and payloads for high altitude platforms such as Zephyr.
