Job Description Who are we looking for? A Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join UKAEA as a Section Leader within The Design Office. You will be involved in a variety of UKAEA engineering programmes, each with unique design challenges, providing scope to grow and develop your experience. You will need to be an experienced Design Engineer, with a sound understanding of CAD tools and their application in the development of complex engineered products. You will have Line Management responsibilities so will need to display excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively matrix manage and develop a team of designers from early careers to highly experienced. What will you be responsible for? A Mechanical Design section within the Design Office.
