M4 are currently seeking a Design Engineer to work with one of our clients, based on the outskirts of Swindon. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the role include; * Update Product Evaluation spreadsheet * Support sales with Technical queries std/non std * Update standard costings and costing system to suit Bill of Materials * Production of/produce/check sales layout drawings * Production of/produce/check customer product drawings * Production of/produce/drawing information pack * Production of/produce/check manufacturing drawings * Update of Technical Documentation Manual * Checking and signing of drawings * Manage changes to product designs * Support Customer technical queries * Ensure compliance with British and other Standards * Support new product development (brainstorm, invent and inspire) * Provide design support for both internal and external enquiries * Assist with Cost build up for special projects/products * Contribution & Support engineering cost down *...
